Town of Penetanguishene
As Director of Public Works for the Town of Penetanguishene, I would like to extend my appreciation to Greeland Consulting Engineers for providing exemplary contract administration and construction inspection services for the Penetang Main Street Reconstruction Project.
The Main Street reconstruction was a huge undertaking for the Town which consisted of: the full reconstruction of 1.4 km of roadway including widening for improved land widths, on-street parking, storm sewer replacement, watermain and sanitary sewer replacement, as well as landscaping and lighting improvements to better serve businesses and residents. The project included significant logistical challenges with respect to the coordination of public access for businesses, and providing workable upgrades to exisiting infrastructure under difficult site constraints and a tight time line.
As the Contract Administrator and on-site Construction inspector, Greenland always maintained open lines of communication between the Town, Contractor, affected businesses and residents, and promptly, responded to all questions and issues raised by the Contractor, the Town and the public. Greenland's attention to detail throughout the assignment helped ensure the project was completed on-time and under budget.

Township of Essa
RE: Township of Essa Engineering Services
On behalf of the Township of Essa (Township), I would like to acknowledge Greenland for its exemplary services to complete the 2022 Community of Angus Infrastructure Master Plan (IMP) Class Environmental Assessment (EA). This legacy Township document developed municipal water and wastewater system models. These calibrated tools were then used by Greenland to develop a sustainable infrastructure planning framework for water and wastewater servicing expansion requirements within the Community of Angus. The project was completed “on-budget and on-time” and cognizant of environmental, technical and socio-economic constraints and opportunities affecting the Township of Essa.
We also appreciate your team’s expertise to provide subsequent model-keeper and development peer review support services. These important responsibilities and overseen by Township staff will help ensure new development approvals proceed in a manner which is consistent with the infrastructure management and expansion needs established by the completed IMP EA project.
Finally, we recognize the professional credentials and attention to detail involvement by your assigned team led by Mr. Josh Maitland, P. Eng.
We look forward to working with Greenland on other projects and serving as a professional reference.

Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority
The Authority’s mission is to provide leadership in the restoration and protection of the environmental health and quality of Lake Simcoe and its watershed with our community, municipal and other government partners. As a resource management agency, we rely on decision support tools such as Greenland’s CANWET model. It continues to play a key role in informing our watershed management planning decisions in relation to policy development, stewardship priorities and education and communication programs.
As always, I look forward to our continued working relationship with you and your colleagues. The Authority appreciates your hard work, and we are confident that this study will prove beneficial in our collaborative goal to improve the health of the Lake Simcoe watershed.
